7 Boys
Wow, just found out I'm going to have a 7th son. No kidding! My wife and I are due in December (of 2005). Seven boys. Wow. Have to start buying a whole cow at a time, I think.

Male Television Disorder
I'm of the opinion that males are genetically predisposed to watching for moving objects. You can make the Darwinian argument that the hunter gatherers would have needed excellent senses for tracking game.
Unfortunately, most of us guys don't exercise those senses on a daily basis (unless you count that morning commute), but we're still saddled with the genetic need. So, we watch television - all those little moving objects just capture our attention, nearly regardless of what's on the tube. How many of you wives have caught your man just standing agape in the middle of the room, gazing helplessly at the television, which at the time is likely broadcasting reruns of the plumbing channel?
I've named this phenomenon the "Male Television Disorder", or MTD for short. You can use it now as an excuse for when your wife / mother / girlfriend catches you watching the tube when you're supposed to be mowing the lawn or fixing something. I'm thinking about applying for disability benefits if I can gather enough support.

Project Management on the Web
A few project management resources I've had the good fortune to either stumble across or be referred to:
www.gantthead.com
Gantthead has loads of content, but more of it seems to be becoming "premium" content.

Exorcist Bunnies
This link points to a 30-second flash animation of "The Exorcist", but reenacted by bunnies. Not offensive at all, but really funny if you've ever seen the movie. http://www.angryalien.com/0204/exorcistbunnies.html

Object Oriented Design
All the world is ablaze with Object Orientedness. Here's an article a friend sent me that takes a counterpoint to the precepts of OOD. "What's Wrong with Objects", by Marc Clifton

XSLT and XPATH
Here's a reference on learning XSLT and XPATH. They have several downloadable references, and source code for different applications of the technology. Now I just need to locate a good reference on the DOM, so that I can use it to tie together all of this stuff.
Dare Obasanjo wrote a good article on Understanding XML recently, and it's helping me get my head around the relationshipi between the different methods available for manipulating the structures.
Alan McBee wrote this article describing ASP Technology and the XML DOM; I haven't read it yet, but it looks interesting.
Oh, the ASP Built-In Objects Reference, over at MSDN. Possibly helpful in working through the transformations, etc.
This is an older article, in that it talks about using MSIE 5.0 for parsing XML on the browser. (My XML, Your Browser, by Charlie Heinemann)
Why technology is so complicated...
NITF.ORG (News Industry Text Format) provides XML structures to support the publication of (you guessed it) news articles. Seems like a good

Mr. Otto Goes to the Olympics
Got this link from a good friend (Thanks Zygmunt) who fortunately has the same depraved sense of humor that I do. :) It's a Flash Movie, and takes a few minutes to load, especially over dialup, but it's worth it. Mr. Otto - Olympics. I particularly like the fencing scene, and the diving board is darn good too!
