Squiring at Crown, 2004

For the Spring 2004 Middle Kingdom Crown Tourney, I had the opportunity to act as sole squire for His Grace Dag and Lady Anne Marie.  The day was bright and temperate, and the fighting excellent.

Earl Brannos held the day, winning the crown of the Midrealm for his lady, Rebekah.

His Grace introduced me to one of his former squires, Gerhardt von Eisenherz, now an Earl of Caid by his own hand.  Gerhardt demonstrated how a skilled squire should act - he found ways to assist Dag that left me wondering how he was able to get into place so quickly, much less simultaneously take Dag's helm, sword and shield.  I have much to learn.
